I just download the latest bios from Asus, I unzip the bin file and put it on the floopy disk, then I boot it with the floopy still in and nothing happens (I set priority to floopy first), instead I get an error message. So what is the right way to flash the bios from the floopy? Thanks in advance.

Download/run this.

Next, go to the ASUS download page, and download both the Flash program, and the aforementioned .bin file.

Place both of those files onto your newly created boot disk.

Reboot the machine, boot to the floppy by selecting appropriate BIOS settings.

Key in the exact name of the .exe program at the A:\ prompt.

Flash the board, reboot when finished.

done

Why are you flashing the BIOS?? Are you having any issues etc??? If it's working fine currently then why flash??
