NEED HELP: UPDATE: its Micron....how do i overclock it???? UPDATE: how do i benchmark it????

ok after running my system for about 2 months i want to make sure of something:
i ordered (supposedly) 128mb PC133 7.5ns Micron RAM from googlegear
now i want to know if it is REALLY what they claimed it was, since i dont have any SOLID proof (except the invoice)
on one of the chips it says (going down the long side of the chip)....

is this Micron RAM????

BTW, how do i overclock my RAM??????????

yeah it's 7.5ns micron ram...
MT = Micron
-75C = 7.5ns chip revision C

you have to runthe fsb higher please go read in you mobo manual or on hardware sites people like me are tired of answering the same stupid questions again and again.

check in your bios(duh) if you want to run it at 133 set you mobo to host clock + pci clock. you can also up the fsb to at least 105 witch wil o/c he ram and the cpu and everything else for that matter.

Maverick2002: dont worry about people that think that thier time is more valuable than it is...

As far as overclocking it you can only change the FSB (hence oc'ing your CPU) or you can change the cas latency. CAS2 is faster than CAS3 and that should also be a factor when determining how well your ram performs. If you can run at cas2 at your current speed then that is about all you can do!

Are you overclocking that duron just by the fsb to get it to 650 or is it just a weak multiplier overclocker?

its a multiplier overclock......pencil trick
but....
i did it in a hurry, so i cant OC past 750 and anyway, my HSF (coolermaster) gets too hot.....
im waitin til i get alpha pal6035

if sisoft sandra is not working then you have something wrong.

You can try benchmarks like quake 3 timedemo bench it before and after o/c to see the diference you can also use 3dmark 2k to some extent(video card biased and imprecise)
