Need help understanding what ATV tires sizes mean.

Alright, I can figure out for myself that the 21 and 22 parts are the tire heights. As for the other two numbers I'm guessing they are width and rim sizes but I'm not sure which is which. Educate me. 🙂

BTW, I need to get some tires in the sizes mentioned above (21x8-9 & 22x10-10). Are there any good places online to find them?

21x8-9 = 21" tall, 8" wide on a 9" rim.

Any suggestions on where to buy tires? I can find plenty of of places via Google but personal recommendations are a plus.

Visiting the local atv shop is like getting gang raped by a pack of gorillas.

If you aren't looking for a specialty tire, check your local Wal-Mart. They usually cary plain jane ATV tires.
