I need help underclocking my Pentium 4 on a D850GB Mobo, can anyone help?

I am running a Pentium 4 1.5Ghz on a Intel Desktop D850GB motherboard and I need to underclock it to 1300 (1.3Ghz) for testing purposes. Does anyone else have one of these motherboards, I don't know how to access to the BIOS.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Intel motherboards are auto-detect and won't let you change the multiplier....the processors are locked anyway, unless you have an unlocked Engineering Sample.

As far as it goes right now you are out of luck. Unless h.oda(soft frontside bus utility) adds a file for the Intel clock generator for your motherboard there is no way to overclock. If you were Intel would you release a motherboard to overclock your processors???

You cant change the multiplier. The intel mobo probably wont let you change the fsb anyways so no overclocking/underclocking for you.

No, the Intel PR guy told me he would send me a full "whitebox" system with a Pentium 4 1.5Ghz chip and I would be able to clock it down to 1.3Ghz for testing.

Well then it must be an unlocked CPU. Um I bet there is a configuration Jumper on the board that enables setup of the CPU. Did you get a manual with the motherboard?? It should tell you how to do this. Good luck!!
BTW: LMK if you want to sell that unlocked cpu ;)

if u want to get to bios, on my old IBM, i would press F1 after the beep, try F1 or some other keys.
