Greetings,

I just reinstalled Windows Vista on my laptop along with all the drivers that were included with the cd set I was given when I bought the laptop. For some reason my internal wireless card won't turn on. I can't find any option in the OS. There is no outside switch and the FN-F2 only turns my internal bluetooth on and off. If anyone knows how or what I need to download to get it turned on I would be greatful. Thanks in advance.

Specs:
Dell Inspiron 1705(practically brand new)
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-Card or Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini Card
-I am away from my computer atm. I just kno it is the best wireless N card out that dell throws in their laptops-

You probrably have a hotkey combination to turn it on, like the fn key and then do you see a blue pic on any key on the keyboard that kind looks like a wireless tower or has the wireless lines?

It see's a network device in the thing but it can't reconize it. Yellow triangle with ! in the mid.

I do see a tower with like radio waves coming off the top. But its F2. Like I said, when I press it, it turns my blue tooth off and on constantly.

I can't call Dell and ask for the fact its hard for me to use a phone since I am in japan and the phones on my base are constantly being used. I guess its one of the downfalls of being a Marine -_-.

did you install any drivers that were labeled as the wireless card drivers? Sounds like you didn't... check your discs again or just download the current ones from Dell.com
