Need Help Troubleshooting Car Amplifier Problem

I have an older A/D/S factory setup in my vehicle. The amp is a PQ8 4 channel.

I was getting absolutely no audio from my front speakers and sub woofer box, so I decided to try another identical amp from a friend. After carefully installing the second amp, it powered up and worked fine for all of 3 or 4 minutes, then the amp just ceased operating... So now I'm right back to only having audio from the rear speakers.

I've checked all fuses and connections. No blown fuses, and all connections seem to be alright. The ground looks to be good. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be going on here?

How is the amp hooked up? Are you running just the sub off it? Or is it powering the other 4 speakers? I'm guessing it runs the four speakers and you also run the sub off it. Take the sub out of the equation and try and get the other four to work. A bench test isn't a bad idea for the amp, is it even powering on? Check the rca's from your head unit to the amp, make sure they're hooked up tight.
