Need help troubleshooting an HTTP server

I need some help here, as I've pretty much tried every combination of settings I can possibly think of to get this thing working. I have an HTTP server setup at home that I'm trying to host a website from (www.othersidephotography.net), and it's accessible just fine from the LAN when you punch in the web address. Go outside the LAN and punch in the web address, you just get a time out.

I've checked the firewalls, port forwarding, everything. XP firewall is disabled, but I still can't get it to load from the WAN. I can access my FTP server from the WAN, but only using my IP address - would that say that there could be a DNS problem? Can't access the HTTP server from the WAN when using an IP address, though.

Any suggestions on what to do?

You are for sure having a DNS problem, I would put money on it.

Are you sure you have a Static IP assigned to the Server?

the internet connection to the server has a dynamic IP, but it only changes every few months.

I'm currently using FreeDNS as a DNS solution - should I maybe look into another service or possibly running my own DNS server?

can you access the website if you punch in your ip address? It's also possible that your isp is blocking port 80 inbound (but I doubt it)
