Need help trouble shootig mobo probs~!

Turn on my computer...Immediately I get these long beeps from the mobo in an endless loop along with "C1" as the error on the LED indicator. According to my manual long endless beeps w/o no post or boot means "DRAM not installed or detected". Obv. I have memory installed into my board...but is it not recognizing it? Mobo is the EVGA 133-K8-NF43 and is about 2.5 years old. Since I last used it (about 2 months ago) it was working fine and it hasn't been touched since, which confuses me as to why this would happen.

I would make sure your RAM is correctly seated.

Have you used this RAM and motherboard together before? If not, do you know what voltage the RAM requires?

Yes I actually took the side panel off and took out the ram.. and then reinserted it.. snapping it into place.

Yes the ram and mobo have been working together flawlessly for 2.5 years.. I don't see a reason why having it turned off for a few months would cause this issue. I didn't touch anything in it since the last time it worked, which had no problems with it at all.
