The Yahoo.Finance message boards are totally overrun with stock-pick scam spammers and Yahoo isn't doing anything about it. I'd like to email whomever is providing web space for these a**holes and get them punted or something. How do I go about determining who the provider is when the site is "http://202.181.199.148/trade/48.html" of something along these lines. I've emailed yahoo/hotmail etc as they are usually the email domain at these sites and they will kill the address listed at the site, but of course the spammers just change the spelling slightly and the email is up again in short order. Sorry if this is kind of a rant, but I'm really sick of the boards being full of junk.

Thanks,
Fausto:|

Try using a different board if that one is overrun with spam. If people start doing that then perhaps the owners of these boards will get the hint. If not atleast you won't be annoyed by all the spam.

Send all the info you can gather off to the SEC's Internet Enforcement Division and see if there is anything they can do. I occasionally get spam emails about stocks and just forward them along to the SEC so they can do their thang.
