Need help to stabilize system, ram timing?

My RAM (2 sticks Crucial 256mb ddr cas 2.5) seemed to cause problems when I pushed it to CAS 2. I've set the CAS parameter back to 2.5 and things seem to be better. No crashes after 10 minutes of Prime95 and no unexpected exits out of UT, although more testing is needed.

In case this doesn't solve all my problems, what ram timings are more conservative, besides just setting the CAS value?

The core runs around 52C under load, and I plan on lowering this by ducting front air directly onto the HSF using paper towel rolls and duct tape. Red Green rules!:D

It should sort your problems. I had the same symptoms when I pushed CAS3 ram to CAS2. The problems disappeared when I set it back to original perimeters.

Generally reducing the temperature will result ina more stable system, or looking at it another way, the hotter the system is, the more likely an error will occur.

Bump for more comments.

If memory timing is an issue, I'm looking for settings (the 8-8-4-2-2-2-2 numbers in particular)
