My RAM (2 sticks Crucial 256mb ddr cas 2.5) seemed to cause problems when I pushed it to CAS 2. I've set the CAS parameter back to 2.5 and things seem to be better. No crashes after 10 minutes of Prime95 and no unexpected exits out of UT, although more testing is needed.
In case this doesn't solve all my problems, what ram timings are more conservative, besides just setting the CAS value?
The core runs around 52C under load, and I plan on lowering this by ducting front air directly onto the HSF using paper towel rolls and duct tape. Red Green rules!
