Need help to setup a system.. FAST

Hi Guys. I need to setup a new system within a week and i dont know much about mobos and processors. Im planning to get an AMD 64 system so that it can be futureproof. Which motherboard and processor combination would be the best? What difference would be there in different makes of the cores? I wont be overclocking at all. Also since the system would be in India(no air conditioning ) I need a really good cool case and cooling system. Is the stock CPU cooler in AMD good? And finally some cheap RAM (Around 1GB). Could anyone please give me model numbers and makes. Thanks.
 
check out General Hardware...there's always someone putting together a system in there and you should find something close to what you're trying to build. After that, go over to newegg or tigerdirect assuming you're going to build it yourself, otherwise head over to dell. Put together a couple systems and then when you find one you think will fit, bring it back to General Hardware and get some suggestions.
 
Or you could always go to Newegg or Mwave, and "build" a system there, and it will let you select parts that are compatible, and use that as a basis for your research. And stock HSFs are definitely sufficent for the processors they come with...
