Need help to plan a vacation for family! (Orlando)

I've tried looking online and don't know much about tour agencies here in the States. My family would be here in the States in late April to attend my graduation and they would liked to move around.

My dad suggested Florida and I've looked online for tour packages. This would be my first time going to Florida too anyway. Do you guys know of any tour agencies which are relatively cheap and good?? Where's a good place to visit in Florida?? I heard Orlando is good. 😀 Any other specific place?? There would not be anyone below the age of 21 coming along. 😀

I've looked over at priceline.com but they would not let you know of the details before you place a bid.

Found this to be quite a deal so far.

Edit:

I've found a few hotels which are pretty nice in Florida. Here's the list:

1) Radisson Plaza Hotel Orlando
2) Radisson Hotel Orlando

Do you guys with any experience in Orlando have any suggestions?? Preferbly a hotel which is near to all the parks and any nice shopping lots. 🙂

Why not sit down in front of a travel agent who most likely has done some of these trips personaly. In most cases this is a free service. Perhaps a modest airline ticket charge as the airlines have given them the shaft. This way if you have a problem or need to change something you have a real human being to help you. Not someone on the other end of the phone or e-mail who doesn't know you form Jack.

ps: My wife is a travel agent. 😉

Your wife does travel tour packages to Florida?? 😀

I've never done this before. I'm going to look online and see what tour agencies are around my county. 🙂

Come down and vacation in the desert mountains of far West Texas! Seriously. My family goes on an R&R retreat after the summer in Ft. Davis there every year. It's great. Colorado is always a winner, Florida Keys are great and there's always something fun to do between New York and Boston.

I would be going to NY before they go back to Malaysia. spank007 would be there to help me get around. I'll ask them and see if they wanna go to Texas. 🙂

eh, malaysia is hot enough, you don't want to bring them to texas.

do disneyworld. or the keys. snorkeling is nice.

Right now you can reserve rooms at a discount rate through disney....1407wdisney. The code is AEF. You can stay at a moderate hotel for $94 a night. The buses and monorail will take you wherever you want to go while you are in Disney. You don't need to rent a car for a whole week. You can rent one for a day and get it from the Downtown Disney. That way you only pay for a day or two rental instead of 7 days! Then you can drive to Canaveral (defiantely go there) and to Universal. Older boys will like Islands of Adventure over the regular Universal Studios. You can do a two-day pass for about $95.

Make reservations about a month ahead of time for Chef Mickeys (buffet character meal) or the Polynesian Luau. About $50-$60 per person, but is pretty cool. Chef Mickeys is $15-$20 per adult.

I've been to Disney and all throughout Florida numerous times. You can usually book a cheaper package if you do it yourself rather than using a travel agency. Why? Airline tickets are real cheap now...much cheaper than the bulk rate travel agencies get...same with hotels. You can usually do better than Expedia too.

I recommend the Caribbean Beach Hotel in Disney. Waterslides in the pool, but is $94 a night. Also has a Jacuzzi!

PM me if you have more questions.
