Need help to move on to new rig

Hi, Im getting myself a new AMD 64 system and need some help in making a few decisions. Firstly it will be an AMD 64 (3200+) and have 1 GB RAM. The problem is in deciding the motherboard. I currently have a FX5700LE card (256 MB). I am planning to buy the MSI k8n neo 4 platinum mobo. This mobo only supports pci express so im planning on getting a 6600GT (128 MB) [thats the best i can afford]. I currently can play doom3 at high quality. Now should i

get MSI k8n neo2 platinum (for AGP) and stick with my FX5700?

OR

get MSI k8n neo 4 platinum (for pcie) and get the 6600GT?

Is the 6600GT worth the extra $? Will the FX 5700LE be equal to it cos of the extra 128 MB? Thanks for any help.

I would definatly go with the latter, 6600GT can keep up with and outperform a 9800pro..5700 is no match for it, and the extra ram on the 5700 doesn't help especialy since it's older slower ram.
