I recently downloaded the new Dnet client, linux, to do RC5-72 and I cannot connect to the keyservers. An older client worked fine. Looking at one odf the readme files it mentioned something about changing the way the connected to the keyservers to using the host command. When I try the host command this is what I get. How do I fix this?

host proxy.anandtech.com
Host proxy.anandtech.com not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

try pointing towards westwind.homeip.net and see if you can connect to my pproxy

Fails with the same message. I can ping it however. Doing alittle more research it appears to be a problem with DNS configuration. I don't know how to fix it from what I was able to read.

just hard code the proxy.teamanandtech.com ip address into your client.. problem solved
Pinging proxy.teamanandtech.com [166.70.74.93] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 166.70.74.93: bytes=32 time=48ms TTL=238

Well that worked in the client, however it failed using the host command. Don't know why I didn't try that thanks.
