I am planning to go to colorado coming this 22-26 of this Dec, my purpose on this trip is for relaxation and photo shooting, i like natural attractions(mountain, lake, waterfall and so so) and Hot Spring. Can someone direct me to place to stay, so far these are the places i found.

Breckenridge, Buena Vista-Salida, Canon City-Texas Creek, Colorado Springs , Denver, Idaho Springs and Marble-Aspen Area.

I'm heading up there too. Staying with a friend right outside Boulder at 8000ft. Already below zero he says. Don't know much of the sites though!

Kansas City, I feel sorry for you.

Anyway, go to Boulder. It's nice there, I have a friend who lives there. If you want to be up in the mountains, it's less than an hour drive from Boulder, and Boulder will be a lot warmer than actaully staying up in the mountains. Plus, with a lot of college students leaving for chrismas, you can probably find a cheap place to stay.
