Need Help - Symantec WinFax Pro 10.02 and Microsoft Office 2000

I have Windows XP Pro installed on TWO different computers.
Both computers have MS Office 2000 (Word 2000 specifically has problems with WinFax).

With WinFax Pro 10.02 installed, Word would request a Virus Scan upon loading and crash. Asking me to send an error report.

However, as soon as I removed WinFax Pro 10.02, Word 2000 runs properly.

What's going on????

I also have Symantec Norton Anti-Virus 2002 installed, if that makes a difference.

But it seems Winfax Pro 10.02 is messing with Word 2000 and only word 2000.

I found a link finally, and it worked fine on one XP Pro computer, but it required more work on another.

If you ask me, this is an example (Winfax Pro 10.02 and 10.0) of POOR programming skills.

They should have made a software package that was seamless and easy to install/use.
