Hey, just installed an Audigy in place of the existing Live card, now there is a blue screen on boot up. When I remove the Audigy the comp boots fine. I did remove the Live card and the drivers before installing the Audigy.
Specs are as follows
Asus A7V 266E
XP 2000+
ti4200
Windows XP Pro SP1

Any ideas on how I can get the Audigy to work? I have tried it in all the free slots except pci slot #1.

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?
Any overclocks?

Did you go through the add-remove program section and uninstall creative software, instead of removing drivers frm device manager?

Puul the Aud2 card out and reboot, then use reg clean or jv16 power tools to clean the registry, put the card back in and try.
Key Point is to clean the registry
