NEED HELP! Sli is not functioning properly!

I just picked up a second 8800gts to run sli and a drive bay psu to to power it. Everything seems fine and the sli bar is showing up in 3d apps but my 3dmark 06 score only went up a few hundred points. That and according to everest my second gpu temp is not going up. this can only mean the second gpu is not being used. What am i doing wrong here?

Cards are Asus 8800gts 640 & evga 8800gts 640

Motherboard is Nvidia 680i.
