About 10 to 20 minutes into a game like FarCry or Quake4 my computer reboots on its own. When the desktop comes back there is always a message stating my computer has recovered from a serious error. I have all the latest drivers and mostly new parts:

CMSTACKER CASE
AMD FX-55
MSI NEO4 SLI PLATINUM
2-BFG 7800 GTX OC
AUDIGY 2 SOUND CARD
SWIFTECH EXTREME SERIES H20-APEX CPU COOLER KIT
2-STICKS OCZ PC4000 1024MB EB PLATINUM
ENERMAX EG701AX-VE-SFMA NOISETAKER 600W POWER SUPPLY
74 GIG RAPTOR AS BOOT DRIVE, 2-37 GIG RAPTORS
WINXP HOME

I do not overclock. The case has two intake fans and one discharge fan at the top. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yea, might be heat. Your card cold be cooking itself. CAn you run a temp log and find out the temps just before shutdown? I would try to get temps for the cpu and the vid card just to be sure.

Sounds like a good suggestion. How do I run a temp log that records while playing a game. And does not lose it's data because of the sudden reboot. Thanks.
