Need help setting up win2k and winME network

I have two PC's - one on win2k and the other on winME. They both logon to my DSL connection sucessfully (they don't share, I can logon from each seprately at the same time) and I'm 100% positive there is nothing wrong with my cable setup.

The closest I can get is seeing both the 2K and ME pc on the 2K pc under "Computers Near Me", but when i double click on the ME it says it is "\\(ME machine name) not accessbile. The network path is not found.". On the ME machine all I see is itself.

Please help! Thanks.
 
...so I need a website with step-by-step instructions on getting this to work. I've tried everything I could find on the internet and on this forum (adding an admin level user on the 2K with same l/p as the one on ME, each has different user names, both are connecting to the same network, etc, etc).

PS - I don't think having a 10/100 D-Link on the 2K and a 10Mbit D-Link on the Me would make a difference, would it?
