Need help setting up smtp and pop on win2k pro

I got my ftp and www up and running using IIS 5 with all the latest patches on my Windows 2000 Professional machine here, but I'm stuck with smtp service. I'm not a member of a domain, so I was thinking my email address would be username@IPAddress. Am I right? I thought I set it up correctly, but it won't send anywhere. Log says that the domain doesn't exist. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, how do you go about setting up POP on a Win2k Pro machine? Thanks everyone.

Windows 2000 professional is not a mail server. You cannot use it as such. If you want to handle your own mail server look into the options, there are many, both free and costly.
