So the manual for this motherboard is horrible. There is a picture of a chip that you have to switch around to enable SLI. But the manual doesn't explain what direction (or which end) needs to be installed for SLI to be enabled. Some have also eluded to it online, but it still isn't clear to me. See for example:

So can someone explain exactly which end (single or dual indicator) needs to be in the slot? I would think the side that says "dual video cards" should be on the end that is attached/installed.
But windows xp is not recognizing 2 video cards. I also don't see anything in the BIOS such as "enable SLI".
Can someone walk me through what I need to do to get SLI going?
EDIT:
Ok, I have resolved the issue. I switched the cards around (moving the secondary card to the primary PCI-E slot) to make sure the secondary card was working properly. And the Nvidia control panel immediately gave me a message that SLI was enabled as soon as I booted into windows. Go figure. A little quirky.
In any case, I am a little disappointed in Asus switch selection and their horrible instructions. But then again, this board is somewhat old so by today's standards, it could obviously use improvements.
