Need help setting up 2 NIC in one pc running NT 4.0 workstation

just need help on running this I dont have extra money to buy a router so I decided to put 2 NIC on one PC the other NIC goes to my dsl modem and the other one goes to my HUB just want to know if i need to install proxy server for this and on how to configure the subnet mask any help is appreciated...thanks for all..

ALL I WANT IS TO SHARE MY INTERNET CONNECTION W/MY OTHER PC

If you want to use the computer as a gateway using what M$ has to offer for NT4.0, then I'd say, yes, proxy server is the only thing that will do the job. Of couse Proxy server won't install on a workstation, it needs NT server running IIS. It's also hard to get a hold of for less than the retail price. I got Proxy server to run correctly once while working on my MCSE, and I was not impressed. For home use the effort/reward ratio is not there. If you just want gateway functionality without the bloated proxy functionality, use linux, Win98's ICS, or some of the third party software that gets mentioned in this forum.
