Need help Setting up 2 LAN Connections on my Laptop

I need to setup 2 LAN connections on my Laptop. One is for work, which I need to preset my DNS, IP, etc and one is for home which I just need it to find everything automatically (static IP at work and Dynamic at home - cable). I can't figure out how to add a 2nd LAN connection. I'm using windows 2000. When I go "Add new connection" it doesn't give me an option to add another LAN connection. Can anyone help me out here? I'm going crazy! Thanks!
