Need help sending large file!

I'm sending off my thesis to my adviser but the file size is 13mb, and that apparently is too big to deliver to his school email or his comcast email at home.

Does anyone know a good/easy/secure way of sending a file? Geographically I am not very close at the moment.

Use WinRAR to compress it and split it into smaller pieces.

you have a google account? log into google docs, there's an upload file section. upload and you can share it with him only or you can just send him the link and make it private. gg.

I used this when I sent files that were larger than 20 megs.

use 7-zip to split it into multiple ZIP files, then send them in separate emails.

Don't send it, use a file hosting service and send the URL. Using the rar or 7zip method will require the other person to have specific software and the knowledge of how to use it.

i guess using google docs would be no different than emailing it to him from google, yeah?

i just don't want my paper to be searchable or anything.
