Do you have to get Dual channel ram (i.e two sticks in a package) to run dual channel as of oppose to getting two individual sticks of ram cuz I already have one stick of fast ram. Thx
 
Two sticks in a package are just two sticks in a package. There's nothing special about them. You should try to match brands and specs if you can though.
