Ok I've got a norelco electric shaver that I use in the morning. Anyways the shave isn't that close so by mid day or so it looks like I just woke up. I hate blades because, well I need a transfusion afterwards. Is there such a thing as a good/close shaving electric shaver? thanks

I've used Braun and Panasonic and I have a pretty thick beard. If you work at it enough either of them will do the job. I like the Panasonic better though cuz it's a wet/dry so cleaning is easy. I've used it in the shower a couple of time and it seems to work better in there, but I don't have a mirror so I end up missing a couple spots!

I've got a Braun 4501 and its one of the best electric shavers I've ever used...and Braun makes better ones than this model too..

I've always used a Braun which has worked perfectly for me, but I've never tried any other brands.

I dunno about that. I've been using my Braun for a few years now, it gets so close you wouldnt even know you had hair there. Id still take it over a blade any day due to the fact that you dont gotta use shaving creme etc. I just sit at my desk when I wake up and shave :)

Just avoid Norelco rechargeable, I can get about 7 shaves out of one charge and it won't run when you just plug it in like other rechargables, you have to wait for it to build up a charge, very annoying piece o crap.....Does shave relatively close though

i used a norelco for about 3 years, but gave it up & went back to blades. i tend to agree with bdawg; i can get a closer shave from a blade.

I use a remington classic. it worked really well for me until it starting coming in so thick I look like I havn't shaved 24 hours later.

A doctor told me that, is just the way my hair grows. it may not be the razor itself.
