Need help restoring icq contacts!

Hi all,
Recently I backed up my icq2000b using a program called icq Rescue by Boysoft. It seemed like it would do the trick. Today, after reformatting my hd and reinstalling icq, I tried to restore my contact list and, although the program said it was restored, my contacts were not there.
Upon looking into it further, it looks like icq Rescue may not support the newest version of icq and that may be why it didn't do a correct restore although the backup process seemed to go ok.
So I found a 99b version of icq and installed that and tried to restore to it, but once again, no dice.
I ended up finding an old copy of the db99 file and copying into the icq directory and that got me most of my contacts but I would like my more recent ones as well.
Is anyone familiar with icq Rescue? Do you have any suggestions?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

you can copy your 99 db files into a directory "2000b" in icq 2000b, and run the db converter in icq 2000b. that should be able to do the trick.

Yes I know I can do that. I have a bunch of .dat, .idx, and .msg file from the backup prog. I used. They are in 2000 format. Do you know where I can put/convert them?
Thx
Gary
