Need help restoring emails from Outlook Express

Recently on my mom's computer, due to reasons outside my control I had to re-install Windows 2000. The problem now is that my mom had a bunch of emails in Outlook Express. Fortunately, I did not format the hard drive, I just re-installed a fresh copy of Win2K. Does anyone know where the emails from the original Win2K would be located, and how can I import them back into Outlook? Thanks.

search for the .dbx file...
