i have an MSI K8N Neo2 and i believe its platinum edition cause when it boots up it says PLATINUM in its big lovely words.

socket 939
A64 3000+

anyway, i was messing with bios settings and obviously screwed around too much cause now im not getting any video.... i found a total of 3 jumpers on the mobo, 2 are close to each other and one is by itself with a single pin directly below it. i first tried just removing and replacing the singled out jumper and turning it on but got nothing.... then did the same with the other 2 one by one.

am i supposed to power the pc on with jumper removed then restart and then replace the jumper? what do i do to reset the bios!?!?! plz help

ok, well, thx for all the help...

what i ended up doing was putting the singled out jumper on the lower and middle pin (it was on the middle and upper pin to begin with) if i put it back on the upper and middle pins i still dont get any video.... weird

power on pc and hit (and hold) the insert key (Hit it as soon as you hit the power button) on your keyboard that should reset the bios setting...

it that fails remove the battery with the pc ac cord unpluged from the wall...

wait 10 mins and then plug it back in and try...

Are you sure you are not getting cold boot ?!?!
I'm not sure about the NEO2 but with my K8N SLI plat. there is a red button on the motherboard to clear the BIOS.
If you have that then turn off your PC and Press it for like 3 Sec.

You have to move the jumper up to the 2 upper pins for 5-10 seconds then move back to original location-bios should be reset. I never could get the insert key thing to work for me.....

Edit- its the 3 pin jumper thingy just below your bottom PCI slot. Shouldn't have to mess with the others- make sure they are back to their original placing. (Detailed in manual I think).

2nd edit- Original location of jumper should be on lower 2 pins of 3 pin thingy.
