need help removing the back plate on an MSI K8N Neo

ok, so I need to remove the back plate on my brand new MSI K8N Neo so I can attack the new back plate that came with my HSF. the only problem is that the back plate on the board is attached with some heavy duty adhesive. so, how do i loosen the adhesive to remove the plate?

this is so very frustrating. ugh.

help an AMD newb out!

acetone or use a hair dryer to heat it up and peel it off.
