There's a coming event call LanMASHand we want to broadcast the event live on the internet via streaming (MS Media or Real..haven't decide yet). The problem is that we are limited to a T1 line at the event location so there is no way we can use that line for broadcasting. We, however, have a remote location red hat server with a 100mbps line sitting idle in Priority Exchange DataCentre in Toronto. We are looking for some sort of a repeater software for linux to repeat the video feed.
for example:
lanmash event ------video feed (via T1)-----server in DC will repeat the signal --------100mbps line-------(more potential viewers with a faster line)
Is this doable?
