Need help recovering corrupted jpegs/mp3s

That's a tough project. For the jpegs, have you tried Ontrack EasyRecovery FileRepair?

For the mp3s, you might try converting a few of them to wav and reconverting back to mp3 and see if that irons out any corruptions. Or redownload them 🙁

I'm not sure how you might recover them this time, but it is a good lesson on why backing up data files is important.

Yes I have tried Easy Recovery.

The jpegs - some were backed up, but not all.
The mp3's - They are the backups. I have over 300+ CDs, and some of which are scratched to POOP! So if they CD is scratched beyond repair, the only hope I have is getting my backups repaired.

I meant that you should back up the mp3s. Once you've done the work to rip, you can burn 200-250 mp3s to a cdr. Even if you have the original cds, you won't have to spend the time ripping again. Your time surely is worth more than a pack of blank cds. Also, few cds are scratched "beyond repair" in normal use. I've hand polished many in years past and heard good things about those $30 machines for polishing.
