Need help recovering corrupt jpg files

Alright so i just deleted some folders on my extra slave hard drive and realized I accidentally deleted one of the wrong folders with a bunch of .jpg files in it.

I have used a program called Recover My Files in the past to get files off corrupt or accidentally formatted hard drives, and it usually works very well... I have recovered a lot of files with no problem. However, this time I deleted the image files and immediately went to recover them, found them with the program and restored them to a new folder, but they are corrupt now. I can not view them in Windows Image Viewer or Photoshop as it says they are corrupt. The status on the Recovery program says they are overwritten but I still was able to save them to my C: drive (primary hd).

Each recovered file is around 2-300k in size and there are about 100 .jpg files I was able to recover, so I am assuming that most of the data is still in tact but some of it is clearly not. I am not 100% sure what method is used with data recovery, but it seems like the file should work since I was able to recover it.

I guess I am just asking if someone knows how I could go about getting the files to work. I have googled around a bit but not found much - just forum posts and yahoo answers crap where people talk about using Photorecover applications or something. I have tried a few and they dont work.

Does anyone know any other programs or methods I can use to get my pics working?

I have Photoshop CS4 and I am running Windows 7 64-bit.

thanks for any help
