Yo guys, I'm looking for a cheap case @ newegg for a case for a matx motherboard, and I stumbled upon this which seemed like a pretty good deal. my question is, do all atx cases fit matx motherboards? I've never had a chance to look at the layout for the screws and such. Thanks!

Yes, I don't know of any standard ATX case that can't also mount a microATX. But I would look at the Athenatech charcoal case for $46. shipped. The dynapower have L&C PSUs (not a good rep) while the Athena 747 series has Sparkle.

actually, i have the athentech charcoal already it use it for my file server. this case is for my mom's computer, and needs to be as cheap as possible (around 30 shipped). Approaching 50 is a little too much.

i wouldn't know for sure... but beings it says ATX i would think it would fit.. screw holes aren't usually the problem. because you can place your spacers where needed.. it's the back of the case where your audio and usb and assorted plugs from your motherboard stick out thats the problem.. sometimes the case may be absent a slot for one of the options.. so just looking at the back of the case and the plugs available on the motherboard should be able to answer you question
