need help putting Win98 on a LINUX machine for Dual boot

IMO dual booting might have made sense before hard disks were cheap, but if you want minimum frustration (and have an open bay in your case) just pick up a couple of cheap hard drive swap racks (I use Vipower) and another drive for Linux. If you hose the Linux install, you can swap drives and get online for help. Swap racks are so handy if I only used Windows I'd still make all my drives removable.

Make a Linux boot disk, install Win9X, boot from the Linux boot disk and restore LILO or GRUB and add Win9x to it's menu.
