Here is the deal... I'm going AMD (cost less work the same + nuff said) I havind trouble picking a mobo. I don't plan on overclocking, I have read some reviews and still can't decide. So basically I'm looking for suggestions on a mobo for an athlon xp 1600. I keep reading all this power supply crap too... I was going to buy a 300w supply anyone think I need more?

I am using a XP1900+(retail), MSI K7T266 Pro2 DDR, and 512 meg DDR system I built last week. It is very fast and stable.

I put in a Compusa 500 watt powersupply. Don't get excited! I know that this is probably overkill but it only cost $30 more than the 300 watt unit. The powersupply it replaced was about six years old and it was the cause of my old system's instability.

Will a 300 watt powersupply provide enough juice for your system? What other components do you intend to use?
