Need help programming ie toolband vc++

I'm trying to add buttons/menu items to this sample tool band source code from MS but I'm not sure how. I know how to add buttons in normal rebars from a MFC app through the dialog resource wizard, but I don't know how to add it to the dll for the tool band workspace. There's no resource tab for it. Any experts at windows programming that can help me out there?
btw Im a VC++ novice,just started to learn it last week, so bear with me 🙂
