Need help: problem with AIM

I had spyware get onto one of my computers the other day. So I have been putting Ad-aware, SpyBot s&d on my computer to get rid of them. Now, all of a sudden my instant messager locks the keys when i try to talk on im. obviously they aren't locked all the time cause i am typing now.

Anybody have anyclue what is going on????? This is no good. Any help would be great!
 
Don't use System Restore. All that Spyware likely got backed up into System Restore.

Uninstall AIM. Download most recent version. Reinstall AIM. If the problem persists, you can start doing various things like running registry cleaners (I suggest RegCleaner and RegScrubXP).

You can also try freeware AIM variants like GAIM or Trillian.
