need help: possible to get different ip with adsl?

i'm at a friends house with my laptop, and we want to play counter strike on the same server. but we can't connect both...

we think the porblem is because we have the same ip...

he has a speedtouch 510 adsl modem and a sparklan router...

we are both connected to the router with cable, not wireless


is it a way to fix this? appreciate any help
