Here's a rundown of what's happening to my system. It's a A7N8X Deluxe Mobo, 1 G. OCZ DDR Ram, Ati 9600 XT video card, Seagate SATA 160 Hd. Last night it suddenly wouldn't boot into normal mode. I had added a new program to it that I had downloaded so I booted into safe mode, uninstalled the prog, ran AVG, Stinger, and backed up my critical stuff. This morning I ran system restore from safe mode and when it tried to boot to normal mode the screen was really messed up looking, just a bunch of blotches. I had an older ATI 9600 Pro card around so I installed it and the pc booted to normal mode just fine. I shut down, tried the old card again just to be sure, got the same bad result and went back to my "spare" video card. Now the pc is just in a loop of rebooting. It won't even go into safe mode.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Gary

Well, logically, it seems that program you installed had an impact on your system.

What exactly was the program? What does it do?
