NEED HELP PLEASE!! Xbox OneController

Hi guys,

I want to buy an Xbox One Controller to connecting it to my PC. If I connect the micro usb to the controller and the usb to a male to male extension about 10 meters longs, it still works?

Also should I buy it with charger + cable kit since it have an original micro usb cable, or buy one without kit and buy a seperate micro usb cable? I know its useless the battery because I cannit use it wireless...

A link to what you are trying to buying might be helpful.

USB generally does not work properly with anything longer then 3-5 ft...

Here you can see it pictured plugged with a micro usb cable from my phone to a 5 meters usb2.0 extension cable into a usb2.0 port on my monitor, no batteries inside.
If you're going to use a USB3.0 port I am sure it will work @ 10 meters, given that USB3.0 has twice the amperage output of USB2.0

I'm actually amazed that it works in that 2.0 port, I was expecting it not to. I have a G27 wheel that won't work in that same port with the 5m extension cable- and the wheel has it's own power supply.

First of all thanks for that picture and information. I bought a usb 2.0 repeater extension extender 10M, hope it will work...
