Need help please...building system....no sign of power at all.

I am building my first system, and today
finally I assembly it.

Problem is after I connected minimal
components (as suggested by many
guide in building system), I can't
get any power at all. It doesn't
seem that there is power at all.

My system is (this is minimal components
that I install first) :
Case : Fong Kai 320 ATX,
Processor : fcpga P3-700 on slotket
Motherboard : Asus p3v4x
floppy : teac 1.44mb
graphic card : elsa gladiac
ram : 256mb mosel vitalic rev 2

Here is step by step what I do
1. Put processor on slotket, install
fan (golden orb) on the cpu.
Put this slotket into slot 1 on asus p3v4x.
2. Put 1 stick ram into the motherboard.
3. Put motherboard into the case, with 6
standoff.
4. Connect power supply atx power into the
motherboard (the biggest plug from the
power supply).
5. Connect 4 pin power into floppy, then
connect the 34pin connector into
motherboard, and the other end to the
floppy. (also make sure pin 1 is aligned).
6. Plug the Elsa Gladiac card into the slot.

Then I turn on the power supply switch (there
is one in FK320ATX power supply), no sign
of power, fan is not working.
I also checked the voltage on power supply,
it is set to 115 so its correct.

I reseated the cpu, graphics card, move
the ram into another dimm slot, replug
power switch, still no sign of power.

Am I doing something wrong here ?
Or is my power supply die ? All are
new components btw.

Please help.

Are all the case headers pluged into the MB?
you'll need to do that, and then use the button on the front of the case.

well they are not connected yet...
and I'm not quite sure how to connect this ...
the manual confused me.

But, shouldn't the fan at least working without
the case headers ?

anyone want to explain how to connect these
case headers (4 connectors which are
power, reset, hardrive, pw_switch) into
asus p3v4x ?

oooo...thanks officeboy...
the fan is working now....
I connected the power_switch case header into
the mobo.....

Let me connect the rest of the components...

Thanks thanks thanks thanks...

On page 40 of your manual you can see where to put your stuff. If you have specific questions I'll try help you further.

thanks office boy and smurk.
Got my new computer working, I finished install
Win 2K atm.
Everything works flawlessly: harddrive, dvd,
sound card.

I feel stupid didn't connect the power switch
button earlier 😛.

Now its time to overclock, (actually I definitely
will hit 933Mhz (from 700Mhz) since my first
boot was at 933Mhz (default from Asus) with 1.65v,
but I lowered it to 700Mhz to install OS.

Thanks.
