I have a 30gb WD hard drive which I partitioned into 2 14.9gb partitions earlier this year. Today while I was using my computer, my computer froze so I restarted it and when it came back on my E: drive said "Local disk" - and when I click on the drive an error message pops up saying: "The disk in drive E: is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" I don't understand how this happened, especially since my D: drive is working perfectly fine, and my D: drive is part of the same hard drive that E: is from. I tried looking at the partition with Partition Magic but it shows "unformatted". I would hate to lose the data on this hard drive so any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone.
