Need help picking parts for a cheap computer

My Uncle is asking me to build him a cheap basic computer for his son so he can do homework and browse the web, nothing too fancy. The budget is up to $500, but the cheaper it is the better.

Here's what I have so far:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115013 - E4300

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135027 - ECS P4M800PRO-M

I'll be buying these two parts from Fry's as a combo for $119

FSP Group (Fortron Source) FSP350-60BN-S ATX12V 350W Power Supply 115/230 V UL, CB, TUV, Nemko, VDE, CSA, FCC - Retail - 34.99

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST380815AS 80GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM -$42.99

Sony NEC Optiarc 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model AD-7170S-0B - OEM - 33.99

PNY Optima 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Desktop Memory Model D1GX43OPT - Retail - 33.99

The total should be about $288.23 after tax/shipping.

If anyone could recommend a good, cheap case (preferably mATX too), I'd appreciate it.

Point him to the E521 or C521 on this page and you're good to go.

Comes with 1 year of in-home service, 24/7 tech support (unless you would rather be your uncle's tech support monkey and answer his phone calls at odd hours of the day) and a nice 19" widescreen Samsung LCD.

For who will be using it I think its best to go the Dell way. Get as many years warr as you want for support.

Good parts, but generally under 500-600, especially for a family member, you will want to go with Lenovo, eMachines, Dell, or someone like that. Much easier, usually about as cheap, and you will be getting FAR less calls for support. Unless you like to be the family computer guy....
