need some feedback from the masses regarding chairs, since the web is kinda short on computer chair reviews.

Been looking around a bit at a few stores and want to make sure I get a chair that suits me. I want to get an executive that has soft cushions and reclines back quite far for under $300. So far I really like the Global Seville, but doesn't recline back as far as I'd like. Also there was a cheap(er) one at Best Buy that wasn't bad either, but I'm not looking it up since I'm dead tired atm.

2 questions I have is, what chairs recline back the most and what do you guys recommend that you find really comfortable?
hopefully a lot of ppl chime in so I can make a decision, thx 🙂

hrm. I'd say just stop by a furniture store and check out the chairs there. cuz, you know, they have DISPLAYS.

But still arrogant enough to waste your piece of bandwidth

It'll be hard finding a chair that leans back further than I think 45 degrees. I don't know about "furniture" stores per se, but at office supply stores, Samsonite was always tops imho. (In both price and comfort)

yeah, why are there always "i dont care" responses...why do people bother, if its too much for them?

for the chair:
go to ikea and get the awesome desk chair for 60-70 bucks.

ok, guess I have to clarify before I go to bed, I have been looking in stores, but it's hard to determine which ones recline back more and comparing one chair in one store to another chair from another store. I just wanted some names shot out so I could find a store that sells it and SIT in it myself and save myself some time going to like 20+ stores sitting in crappy ones 1st. Why must ppl in this forum be @sses? especially HappyPuppy, I see how you get so many post.

OMAX, Staples, Office Depot are stores you should check out. You could also check out some furniture stores like Rooms to Go but theres will probably be far too expensive I'm guessing, if they even carry computer chairs.

Samsonite is the top brand at the above mentioned 3 stores. Their black leather chairs are very soft and cushiony. They aren't going to lean back any further than any other brand - it's a computer chair, not a gdamn recliner. If you're looking for something to the point where you can go like 150 degrees you're going to be sorely disappointed when you go looking for chairs. Oops in my above post, I should have meant about 90 degrees instead of 45.

In terms of comfort, the mesh chairs are extremely comfortable imho, but the padding gets worn out a little easier, but they have more give and leeway than the leather ones.

Hell yeaaahhh! I got to test one of those bad boys out... I was considering staying there until security escorted me away.

Too bad his budget is 300, not 3000 😉

If you're a member of Sams Club or Costco, go check them out. They sometimes carry very nice excutive chairs for less than $200. I brought my Lane Executive Leather from Costco and let me tell you I couldn't be happier. The last time I checked Costco they are currently selling the Samsonite Executive chair for under $200. Don't waste you money buying the cheap arse executive from the Office stores. They always advertised executive chair $300 MSRP and now onsales for $39.99. I brought one of those $50 executive chair from Office Depot and after one month of lightly used my arse hurts if I sit on it for more than an hour. I gave it to my next door little kid. Good luck.

What were you seriously expecting for $40?

i have one of those staples/ officemax executive leather chair thingie that costs $100 . but usually sales @ around $50.

after about 2 years of usage, i do feel that foam on the butt part is somewhat flattened, but its pretty comfortable 🙂

and its cheap enough 🙂
