So I'm looking at getting a new "main" TV and putting my current one in my bedroom. I've narrowed down my selections to a few sets and would just like some input on them. My budget is, say up to 1500 Canadian. And I would like to buy it at BestBuy as I will be using my BB Credit Card.

For LCD i'm looking at,
LG 55" 55LD650 $1399 on sale
Samsung 55" LN55C610 $1399 on sale

For LED I'm looking at,
Samsung 55" UN55C5000 $1199 on sale

For Plasma I'm looking at,
Panasonic 54" TCP54S2 $1299 on sale

So it's pretty obvious I want a set in the 55" range, and that I'm not really picky with type of set. But any input from people that have these sets or people that just know more than me would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Plasma probably won't be a good bet due to the glare inherent to the glass they use... and if I'm not mistaken, that model doesn't have anything special to reduce glare.

Plasma sets rule for the cost. If all the sets cost about the same then the plasma will be the best overall in picture quality.

I've always had LCDs and went Plasma this time around. I hear LED LCD TVs offer worse PQ compared to Plasmas. LG 50PX950 should be within your price range.
