I won a QX9650 processor at comic-con this year and want to build a good gaming machine around it. I want to have SLI support and I'm not into overclocking. So what would be a good motherboard for it? I'm also considering an Antec 1200 case for it.
So any ideas?

Thanks,

If you are not into overclocking send me the chip right away, I can save it.

Honestly if you aren't into OCing you're better off selling it on FS/FT or ebay since the unlocked multi would go to waste. You can easily reach QX9650 speeds through OCing like a 9450 or 9550 (likely on stock voltage and stock cooling given sufficient case airflow). With the extra cash you save, you can get other cool stuff like a second monitor.

The only reason i am not into overclocking is because I really do not have the know how to do it. So my first step is to build a good gaming machine around the chip and then maybe I'll consider it. SO right now I need lots of input on the right parts to get so I can get it built. I'm hoping for all the solid input I can get. Thats why I'm asking you guys. So I would appreciate any ideas you have. What are some good cases, power supplies and anything else I'll need?

Thanks

If you want to overclock and you need SLI then you need an 790i mainboard, all the other SLI capable boards suck at quad overclocking, big time.
