My father wants me to pick out/build a new computer for my mother because hers was outdated in the Mesozoic era. He doesn't care whether I build it or it comes from Dell, but he, just like any good businessman, wants the best value for his money. I haven't even thought about components since I built my last rig, almost 2 years ago, so I have no idea who makes quality equipment now. She will only use it for internet, email and her accounting programs, and I will probably draft her onto my folding team.
I have always used Intel and it has never failed me so this will be intel as well. I will not need HDs because there's plenty of space on the current ones so I will just swap them into the new box. Also do not need a keyboard, or mouse or Windows cause i still have my XP home CD. I think I will be using one of the P4 2.8s. So, basically I need a Mobo(with vid, aud and lan on board) a case, RAM (atleast 512), HS & case fans, DVD drive and Monitor. I think that's it, sorry if i forget anything. Hope someone can help with this low priced quality rig.

thanks,
Jeff
