Well the time has come to upgrade my old 32 inch 720p lcd tv. I need some help on picking a new set and would like your opinions on this.

Criteria
$500 to spend max
Can't be wider then 39 inches side to side to fit on my stand since it's in the corner of the room
I have no brand preference
120hz would be ideal
1080p needed
Will be hooked up to my 360 then PS4 when that launches
All my web stuff is mainly done on my laptop
I really don't even watch tv on this thing but will watch some blu ray movies on it once I get my PS4

I have Best Buy, HHgregg, Target, Walmart, Kmart and Micro center locally, I would prefer to buy local in case there is a issue with the set I can just take it back. I would like to obviously go up in screen size some, I've been using this 32 inch for the last 7 years. I have no clue what I should go with here and opinions are appreciated.

I was impressed with Best Buy's non-LED Insignia 39" LCD TV the last time I was there. The LED model next to it was more expensive and the picture looked worse. But that was around $300 iirc, although I think it was only 60Hz. It was awhile ago so they'd probably have some more modern 120Hz TV's on display now. I was going to pick it up, but ended up going with a mini projector instead.

Vizio is also generally a safe brand to check out.

My cousin has a 55 inch vizio and the picture on it blew me at. I found a 42 inch at best buy for $449 that's probably my best bet
